The new Guniean Leadership is becoming a thorn in the flesh of the Mano River sub-region with constant threat on the border of both Liberia and Sierra Leone that were once sister countries with almost the same people in all three countries.
For a very long time Guinean Military have been in Yenga, a disputed border town in the East of Sierra Leone with Guinea. This time around President Mamadi Dumbuya seems to be using guns against Sierra Leone and Liberia as opposed to usual pen that have been using to settle dispute of such nature.
Dumbuya who took power by bullet as opposed to his counterparts who were elected by the ballot in both Liberia and Sierra Leone has also tried to seize towns and villages in Liberia despite efforts by both the Liberian and Sierra Leonean Government to ensure that matters of such nature are resolved peacefully without any bloodshed.

“The confidence you have placed on a Sierra Leonean company, It is not only a honor but a responsibility. You have chosen cooperation over competition” Bio maintaned

President Bio described that vision of his counterpart as bold statemant and not just a Liberian Statement but a regional statement which is part of the connective tissue of West Africa, strengthening ECOWAS free movement.
“Pavi Fort was build by our people, now trusted with a land mark project. By extension I became part of Pavi-Fort and I will keep them to make the date. We should hold our companies accountable so that they will deliver. What is stoping a Liberian companies to cross the border?” Bio asked.
The Liberian President, Joseph Nyuma Boakai also made similar setiment on peace and development.
