Wanted: Man Accused Of Selling Land

By Amadu Kargbo
Marie Kamara, the custodian of a piece of land at Waterloo in the outskirts of the capital, Freetown, reported a matter of land grabbing and selling by one Arold Sheka Kamara, a relative of Marie.
According to the police, Arold has gone missing shortly after it became known that he has allegedly sold land on which the purported buyer is already building a house.
The police maintain that they want to invite Arold to explain about the sale of a land that his aunt is the custodian of; but he has not been seen since.
A neighbor of Arold, who begged for his name not to be published, said some family members went to look for Arold at his mother’s place, threatening to kill Arold if they set eyes on him because of the land he sold in March last month, some even pelting stones at the house.
Meanwhile, the police, who are still looking for Arold in connection to the land he sold, have declared Arold wanted; and the current owner of the land is adamant that he bought the land from one of the owners.
As at press time, the whereabouts of Arold is still not known.
Waterloo has lately been in the news for the wrong reasons.
