SLCB MD: Yusufu Abdul Silla To Pay Le10 Billion …For Estate Fraud
Sierra Leone Commercial Bank (SLCB) and its Managing Director, Yusufu Abdul Silla are to compensate one Umu Jalloh the sum of Ten Million Leones (SLE10,000,000) which is equivalent to Ten Billion old Leones for acting negligently in the discharge of their fiduciary duties.
According to documents in the hands of New Age, Umu Jalloh, the surviving spouse of late Mohamed Bob Jalloh deceased intestate took Abdul Kareem Jalloh brother to Mohamed Bob Jalloh, SLCB and the Managing Director to court for estate fraud.
That the SLCB and General Manager acted negligently with regards their fiduciary duty against the Plaintiff and Mohamed Bob Jalloh.
That the estate of Mohamed Bob Jalloh includes: Musia Livestock Agribusiness Company Limited, Global Sustainable Agribusiness Consortium, Real Properties situated at Off Main Peninsular Road, Mambo Village and Falaba District Northern Province of the Republic of Sierra Leone. Holder of various bank accounts at the SLCB, RCB, UBA, Eco Bank and Falaba Community Development under its business entity.
That the Bank negligently and illegally granted a withdrawal from the estate of the late Mohamed Bob Jalloh to his brother one, Abdul Kareem Jalloh on the caveat of a letter of administration fraudulently, inappropriately and disproportionately.
That the Bank together with Abdul Kareem Jalloh and the General Manager of SLCB should recover the sum of SLE457,000 being monies due on the estate of the late Mohamed Bob Jalloh that was negligently and fraudulently withdrawn from the Musia Livestock Agribusiness Company Limited Bank account.
Efforts made to reach SLCB proved fruitless as the MD promised that the Company Secretary of the Bank will talk to New Age.
