Impere Foundation Continues To Transform Lives
Today, June 25th, marks four years since the establishment of the Impere Foundation for Education and Agriculture (IFEA) on June 25, 2021.
I’m sharing this milestone with you because of the remarkable impact we continue to make in the lives of our people and communities. I believe you, too, have the capacity to do the same—and even more. My purpose in writing this is to inspire you to believe in your potential to make a meaningful difference for yourself and humanity, by taking bold and necessary action to achieve your goals.
Seven months ago, we partnered with the Striders Foundation to launch the Self-Reliance Program, a training and coaching initiative designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to start and manage their own small businesses.
Today, I am delighted to share that eight deserving participants from this second cohort have been successfully funded with seed capital to bring their business ideas to life.
We received over 100 applications, and through a careful selection process, narrowed the list to 33 individuals. Out of this group, those who demonstrated the highest level of participation, commitment, and initiative emerged as the final recipients of this opportunity.
Just this afternoon, one of the beneficiaries shared an update on her business growth and the profits she has earned so far. She expressed her gratitude, saying:
“If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have gotten the grant.”
While it’s touching to hear such words, I believe it’s important to give credit where it’s truly due. Knowing my purpose in life, I responded:
“No, my dear. I am not the reason for your success. It is your belief and action that earned you the reward. You worked for it. My role is simply to light the path for those who are ready and willing to walk it—to become the best versions of themselves.”
Let this be a reminder that success is possible when belief meets action.
