Exciting Milestone For The Koinadugu College Green Yard Initiative
We are proud to announce that under the Green Yard Initiative, students, staff, and volunteers at Koinadugu College have successfully completed the first harvest from our cassava plantation this past weekend!
This milestone also included the processing of the cassava into garri, showcasing not only our commitment to sustainable agriculture but also our dedication to practical, hands-on learning.
A special thanks to Ms. Emma Bangura, an experienced agribusiness consultant from IBMA Solutions SL Ltd, for leading this initiative with expertise and passion. Her guidance has been instrumental in bringing this vision to life. And also, to our partner Feeding Mouths, Filling Minds (FMFM) for supporting this initiative.
This marks just the beginning of our journey toward agricultural innovation, food security, Entrepreneurship and community empowerment at Koinadugu College and the district.
