Bio’s Top 5 FY2025 MCC Scorecard Indicators: *Education Expenditure: 97% *Women in the Economy: 96% *Employment Opportunity: 94% *Girls’ Pri Edu Completion Rate: 94% *Freedom of Information: 91%
The recently published FY2025 Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) scorecard shows an impressive performance by the President Bio led New Direction administration as Sierra Leone passes 11 out of 20 indicators.
The scorecard shows outstanding performance on the following five indicators recording 97% on Education Expenditure, 96% on Women in the Economy, 94% on both Employment Opportunity and Girls’ Primary Education Completion Rate, and 91% on Freedom of Information.
Sierra Leone did well on the categories of Ruling Justly and Investing in People as the country passed five indicators in the category of ruling justly and failed one, and passed four indicators in the category of investing in people and failed two of the indicators.
Sierra Leone also did well on the indicators of Control of Corruption and Rule of Law recording 74% and 62% scores respectively.
Two other indicators which the country recorded good scores on are Health Expenditure and Immunization Rates with a score of 72% and 79% respectively.
However, the country only passed two indicators in the category of Economic Freedom the which are Women in the Economy and Employment Opportunity.
