As He Remains Wanted By Political Operatives… Man Flees To Save His Life

The case of one Alie Kanu a resident of 15 Renka Street, Makeni City, Bombali District in the Northern Province of Sierra Leone resonates with many others who have been victims of political intimidations.
In the cause of such intimidations meted against them, those who were unfortunate lost their lives on the process with no action taken against the perpetrators and those who are fortune are on the run to other parts of the world to save their lives.
Investigations undertaken by the New Age uncovered that Alie Kanu is on the run to save his life as he is on the list of those wanted by operatives of the ruling Sierra Leone Peoples Party who have been searching for him.
That after the failed coup of 26th November 2023 and the subsequent raids carried out in the city of Makeni, he (Alie Kanu) left the country after being tipped off that he is among those wanted.
Investigations revealed that a major reason Alie Kanu is wanted by the SLPP political operatives who are strongly connected to the Resident Minister Abu Abu Koroma is because of his criticism of the SLPP government and his relationship with the late Hassan S. Dumbuya popularly known as Evangelist Samson.
The New Age was also reliably informed that Alie Kanu returned to Sierra Leone after the investigations of the failed coup but that he left the country again due to persistent threat on his life.
In a video circulating on social media, a group of unknown men were making threats that should they set eyes on Alie Kanu, he will face death just like his close friend Evangelist Samson.
Alie Kunu’s situation has got his wife and other close family relatives worried.
