April 29 Prison Break… Wanted: Unisa Kamara

Unisa Kamara, who was in detention at the Pademba Road Correctional Center, is missing after the April 29 prison break at the maximum prison, a reason he has been declared wanted like other prisoners who escaped during that prison break.
After the prison break dust settled, Unisa Kamara was nowhere to be seen, not among the dead or the other prisoners who were still inside the correctional center.
Sporadic shooting was heard during the morning hours of that fateful day, details of what was really happening at the maximum prison still sketchy until it came out that it was a prison break, the reason for the shooting in and around the prison.
According to official and eyewitness reports, many prisoners lost their lives, the government maintaining that an investigation is still ongoing regarding the prison break and its ramifications.
It could be recalled that many prisoners lost their lives during the prison break, the actual numbers of those who really died believed to be far higher than the official number put out by the concerned authorities.
As at press time, the whereabouts of Unisa is not known; and the police are still looking for him.
