Prince Of Wales Class Of 2008 Donates 300 Bag Of Cements …In Support Of The School’s Development

The Old boys of Prince of Wales School, Class of 2008 on Saturday 1st February 2025 Donated 300 Bag of Cements to the Prince of Wales School, the Donation was made at the Prince of wales Compound Kingtom in Freetown.
In his welcome address one of the old boys of the Prince of Wales class of 2008, Yemeh Koroma said that as old boys, they decided to give back to their school so as to contribute to the development of their school.
President of Old Prince Waleans Association (OPWA) National Body, Sulaiman Kamara said that they are pleased to see young Prince Waleans coming on board to complement the efforts that have been done by the National Body of the school.
He continued that he hopes to be seeing old students of Class of 2008 in meetings after the Centenary Celebration.
The Senior Prefect of Class of 2008, Richard Moore Conteh said that it’s the second time they are giving back to their school which made them who they are today.
He stated that a year ago they bought 50 desks and chairs for the School.
He said they want to be in the good books of History, and want to leave a legacy in the School which they expect other classes to follow, so they are donating 300 bag of Cements which Cost Le 50, 000.
The Centenary Committee Chairman, Justice Reginald S. Fynn said that the 100 years of Prince of Wales as a school has produced useful citizens not just for Sierra Leone but the world at large, and that they have been giving back to society which is a sing of excellence.
He said he is happy for Class of 2008 for joining the rest of them to ensure that when history is written and the note is made about the celebration of the 100 years of the School, the Class of 2008 name will be written as they stood up and made a donation.
He congratulated them and added that they have made a good resolution which is 300 bags of Cement which worth NLe50, 000
He thanked them for the huge donation and disclosed that they will start using the cements immediately because there is a building process going on at the School compound.
He concluded that he is hoping that other classes will also come on board and do something for their School.
