Committee on Appointment on Monday 1 October interviewed Sierra Leone’s proposed Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria Anna Betty Moussa and other Presidential Nominees.
Chairman of the Committee, Hon Sidi Tunis said that Anna Moussa had some good managerial experiences owing to the fact that she has served as manager in several companies.
He asked how she will bring her management experience to her job; the nominee responded that she is going work to the best of her ability, ensuring that she served her country very well.
She stated that she was going to work with her boss in trying to rebrand the image of Sierra Leone as well as supporting the policies of the government.
The proposed Bank Governor, Kaifala Kallon was also interviewed.
Responding to questions from the committee, he said that currently the economic situation in the country is getting better, adding that his first duty when he becomes the governor will be how he will stabilize the Leones.
“Academic Administration is the toughest you will find. I have served as an administrator at my department for six years. I believe in cooperative management,” he said.
He said that he will use pragmatic economic approach in tackling the current economic problems.
