Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development has selected Ajuah Morris as the new Kroo Tribal Headwoman for a period of five years.

According to credible report, a meeting was held at the Ministry’s Conference Room in Youyi Building with three aspirants for the Kroo Tribal Head in which Ajuah Morris was selected as the new tribal headwoman.

That, before the said meeting, a Peace and Reconciliation Committee was formed by the Kroo Tribal Administration to look into the disunity of the Kroo tribe.

“Ajuah Morris is a mother and a God-Fearing woman whom we believe will put the interest of the Kroo Tribe above other interests,” one of them said.

It could be recalled that since the death of their former Tribal Headman, Prince Toe in 2018, the Kroos have been without head for almost three years now. It is believed that there are over 50,000 Kroos in Sierra Leone with majority of them residing at Kroo Town Road, Dwazark Farm, Brookfields and Goderich.
