A red flag has been raised on the ongoing bid for the Freetown WASH and Aquatic Environment Revamping Project which has been placed on bid by the Sierra Leone Guma Valley Water Company.
Concerns have been raised that a bidder that was dropped out at some stage of the bidding process has been brought into the process again.
The decision of bringing in the bidder in question has been considered as one which is not only unfair but also dubious in nature.
Responding to these concerns, the Project Coordinator, Francis Lahai maintained that as far as he is concern, the process is on going and that the concern raised is not to his knowledge.
He disclosed that he will not comment further on the issue until the bid for the finally bidder is out.
Details on this in subsequent editions.
