The Sierra Leone Ambassador in the State of Kuwait, Her Excellency Ishata Thomas has on behalf of the President and people of Sierra Leone wished the government and the people of Kuwait the very best in celebrating their National Day and Liberation Day.
Ambassador Thomas made this felicitation by recognising the celebrations marking the National Day and Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait on the 25th and 26th of February respectively.
“Let me on behalf of His Excellency, the President Dr. Julius Maada Bio, the Government and people of the Republic of Sierra Leone and on my own personal behalf, convey to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al-Sabbah (May Allah protect Him), the Government and People of the State of Kuwait, warmest felicitations, prosperity and happiness on the historic and momentous occasion in the calendar of the State of Kuwait,” she expressed.
She stated her delight by recalling that Sierra Leone is recorded in the landmark Liberation of Kuwait.
She expressed hope that the cordial relations existing between the sisterly countries will continue to further strengthen the mutual benefit of the two countries.
“I pray that Allah continues to bestow peace and security, love and prosperity to the State of Kuwait as well as the Muslim Ummah,” she prayed.
She also asked that Allah continues to protect them by keeping all safe, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
