During His Message of Peace, Security & Development… Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally Donates Le 1 B to The Youth For Peace Cooperative Society
Popular businessman, philanthropist and flagbearer aspirant of the ruling Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally has donated the sum of One Billion Old Leones to various cliques and gangs across Freetown.
This generous donation was made by Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally during his message of peace, unity, security and development to the various youth groups at the Parade Field in Central Freetown.
Speaking to the various cliques, Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally noted that the occasion is one which brings back sad memories and remembered when young men used to kill themselves, mothers used to cry for their children and when young people gained their freedom as he succeeded in bringing together the various groups.
Hon. Musa Tarawally disclosed that he is preparing them so that they can be in a position to take care of themselves, take care of their parents, care for their children and also serve as good examples in the society.
“I consider you as serious people without opportunity. I am investing in you people because I believe in you and I know it is for the good of this country. I have put together this cooperative society to train you guys and came directly to you people with this good news without any intermediary as sign that there is no barrier between us,” he emphasized.
He called on them to maintain the peace and security in the country and also advised them to stay away from drug abuse especially Kush noting that without peace, they money he has donated will be of no benefit to them.
After receiving their assurance that they will maintain peace and security in the state, he confirmed that the disbursement of Le500 million will be made effectively immediately and promised that the remain sum will be paid if they properly managed the Le500 million.
He stressed on the need to embrace nationalism noting that Sierra Leoneans themselves need to take charge of their economy and lead the development of the country.
