Former Ward Coordinator & Pastor Charged For Misprision of Treason

Fifty-nine-year-old Mohamed Sanu Former Ward Coordinator and Fifty-three-year-old Kelly Marrah a pastor made another appearance before Magistrate Mustapha Braima Jah of Pademba Road court No.1 on Monday 29th September 2025 on a count charge to wit misprision of treason contrary to law.
According to the particulars of offence on a date unknown between 26th November 2023 and 26th July 2025 at Freetown knowing well that treason had been committed by Daniel Keleh Mansaray alias Ceaser and other persons unknown unlawfully concealed the commission of the said treason.
After the charge was read and explained to both defendants no plea was taken.
State counsel Yusuf Isaac Sesay Esq taking a line of action to file the consent of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice he sought for a short adjournment date.
Meanwhile Magistrate Jah refused bail and sent the defendants to the Male Correctional Facility in Freetown and adjourned the matter to 6th October 2025 for further hearing.
