Wanted: Victim of Political Violence

Samuel Emmanuel Bangura, a victim of political violence, has been declared wanted by the police, who are looking for him.

According to a pastor, who begged for his name not to be published, Samuel disappeared because some people suspected to be thugs and the police are looking for him in the Southern city of Bo.
The pastor informed this medium that Samuel’s mother, who has been murdered for political reasons as she was a strong supporter of the APC, the main political rivals of the ruling SLPP regime, informed him before she died that her son, Samuel, on 30th June 2021, was beaten by a group of people who went to look for her and her husband, Samuel’s parents.
He said Samuel, who was thrown from the second floor of their house, was left for dead; but his mother took him to the hospital to be treated for his injuries sustained from the attack.
He said the mother further explained that whilst Samuel was responding to treatment at the hospital, strange people were asking about his whereabouts, a reason they had to leave the hospital.
He explained that after Samuel knew that his mother has been murdered, Samuel became very afraid, adding that he (pastor) returned home one evening to realize that Samuel had disappeared.
As at press time, Samuel is still at large; and it is still not known whether he is alive or dead.
