Juvenile In Murder Trial

Two men and a juvenile, Hassan Kuyatta Koroma, with an unknown person are standing trail at the Siaka Stevens Street High Court for the alleged murder of one Tamba Lamin Conteh.
The Accused persons were charged with one count charge which is conspiracy to murder under Section 4 of the offence Against the Persons Act of 1861. The charges were read and explained to them in court by the registrar.
The accused were represented by defence attorney Aminata Mansaray and Alpha Dozy.
Lawyer Dozy applied for a bail arguing that both accused persons are Sierra Leonean residents with fix addresses and would not pose a flight risk.
Prosecutor, Kekura Esq. did not oppose the bail request due to the absence of an affidavit in opposition.
However, Chief Justice Browne- Marke deferred his decision on bail stating that his decision would first hear the evidence.
The juvenile defendant has been remanded to the juvenile home in Kingtom while the other two accused persons were remanded to the Male Correctional Facility in Freetown.
The matter was adjourned to 21st October 2024 for P.W 1 to take the stand.
