Atlantic Lumley Hotel Donates Food Items To 3 Mosques At Aberdeen
As part of it cooperate social responsibility (CSR), Atlantic Lumley Hotel has donated thousands of Leones worth of food items to three mosques in the Aberdeen community.
The donated food items worth over Twenty Thousand Leones were presented to three mosques in the Aberdeen community, The Kaabatullah Masjid, Bun Adam Masjid and Masjid Rahman.
Presenting the items on behalf of the Atlantic Hotel Management, the Human Resources Manager of hotel, Lonnel Saied Kargbo, expressed thanks and appreciation to the people of the Aberdeen Community for their hospitality. He disclosed that the people of Aberdeen have always treated staff and management with respect adding that the management and staff and Atlantic Lumley are grateful for the good relationship that has existed between them.
He said that they have been doing this type of donation since they started operation in the Aberdeen Community. He furthered that they have also employed many youths in the community adding that they will continue the relationship.
Speaking at the event the Honorable Member of Parliament, Honorable Mohamed Sheriff Rahman Caulker expressed gratitude to Atlantic Lumley Hotel for their remembering the Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan noting that this good gesture came at the right time, and they are grateful.
He appealed to them to continue the good gesture.’’ This will inspire other businesses operating in the Aberdeen Community to do the same,’’ he said.
Speaking on behalf of the Chief Imam of Masjid Rahman, Abdulai Mansaray thank Atlantic Lumley Hotel providing food for Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan adding that this kindness came at the right time. He called on other enterprises to honor their Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the people of Aberdeen community.
